Volunteer & Intern Programs
The Zoo & You!
Volunteers provide crucial services for our nationally accredited zoo and historic garden. And we currently have fun and rewarding volunteer and intern roles ready for you.
Volunteers assist with many important jobs including educating guests about the amazing animals, preparing diets behind the scenes, assisting guests at the boat dock, tending the garden, operating the A/V system for the shows, looking after guest safety and enjoyment, and much more.
While volunteering you will have the opportunity to learn, make new friends, and help the plants and animals. We are looking for individuals who can devote at least 4 hours a week and seasonal volunteers are accepted. Apply today and join our wildly fun team of nature lovers!
