Croc or Gator ?
Both alligators and crocodiles are big armor-plated reptiles with long snouts and tails native to the state of Florida. So just how do you tell the difference between a crocodile and alligator?

First of all, current estimates say there are about one million or more alligators in the state. In contrast, the American crocodile is an endangered species numbering just a few hundred in Florida. So statistically speaking, you're many times more likely to be seeing an alligator. Regardless, there are some easy visual cues to help you figure out which is which.
