A Cooperative Effort between The Zoo in Naples and the Madagascar Fauna Group

Sunday, Nov. 10th, 2002 From six to nine p.m.

Following on the success of last year's Pianos for Panthers, Caribbean Gardens: The ZOO in Naples is partnering with the Madagascar Fauna Group (MFG) to host Pianos For Primates, an evening of musical delight with special guests on five pianos as arranged by conductor and concert pianist William Noll.

Endangered lemurs themselves will also be among the guests. Hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and champagne will be served. Guests are to dress in safari and khaki attire for a fun evening.

In order to be fiscally responsible with funds raised, all key components of the evening have been donated or provided at greatly reduced costs.

Silent Auction
This year's silent auction features some extraordinary pieces including a concert grand piano by Petrof, the famous European piano manufacturer. It is the Model P III M, a concert piano that is made in a very accomplished and masterly way. It is intended for playing in concert halls and for very demanding piano players. Its sound is very cultured and it is typical of PETROF pianos.

You'll also see a number of beautiful art works including photographic prints by Connie Bransilver, Tiite', Larry Richardson, and Marilyn Janss.
