If party has less than 15 paying children, standard admission rates apply. Additionally, children age 3 and under do not apply toward total in group as they enter the zoo at no charge. Group rates only apply when a single payment is made for entire group.

Frequently Asked Young Explorer Questions
Q: Can we bring our own food ?
A: Yes, of course! You're welcome to bring in your own food. Coolers are always allowed. Please remember,for the safety of the animals, no straws or balloons are allowed in the zoo. Also, alcoholic beverages are not permitted on zoo grounds.
Q: I have a children who are zoo members. What about them?
A: Children with
zoo memberships are always free when the group leader includes member counts when booking the tour and presents photocopies of each member's card upon entry. Members simply do not count toward the total
of children in the group for rates. In other words, if you've got 53 students
coming and 9 are zoo members, the group pays the rate for 15 to 49 children,
not the 50 plus rate. |

What about adults with zoo memberships?
A: If adult chaperones have a membership, they are also free when the group leader includes member counts when booking the tour and presents photocopies of each member's card and a copy of the corresponding photo ID for adult members upon entry.
Q: How and when do I pay?
A: You pay by local check, cash, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover card at the zoo on your tour date prior to zoo entry.
